lost and stiil not found

i felt the need to write a free verse
of my innermost thoughts
i searched deep within and found nothing

so instead i tried to write a verse on love and life
truth and vanity
yet such concepts were foreign to me

and now i hope to make sense of this
emptiness riffling through me and hope
whatever is missing in my life

will not remain lost
and still not found
