Truth
I feel an inherent need to be truthful. But truth in itself is a vague expression of relative ideas in a misplaced time. What truth is there in this world but one ... That truth is a function of place, time and sanity. If history has taught me anything, it is that mankind's idea of truth is as dynamic and misplaced as unharnessed geothermal energy, and as misrepresented as the religious dogma of a dyslexic priest.
But i still feel the need to be truthful. Is it my physiological predisposition to do so, or am i psychologically dysfunctional. Lets be frank here, it is not innate (of humans) to be good. What is primal to all is the sense of self preservation. So being good becomes either a function of self preservation (in other words, selfishness) or a transcendence of that which is primal - self preservation. So you see, either we are good because we are selfish or we are good because we are abnormal. I plead the latter.

The truth is rarely pure and never simple - Oscar Wilde
Truth is pure and eternal. it is simple and it is one. Most at times what we believe as truth are mere facts pertinent only in our day thus, the subjection above. truth stands....stands the test of time!
